Located north of Küçükkuyu town in Ayvacık district of Çanakkale, Adatepe is one of Turkey’s most talked-about and visited villages, thanks to its preserved multicultural history and natural beauty. Situated on the western slopes of Mount Ida and at the northern tip of Edremit Bay, Adatepe is 3.5 kilometers from Küçükkuyu and 280 meters above sea level.

History and Culture

Nestled at the foothills of Mount Ida, mentioned in Homer’s Iliad, this village is surrounded by mythological legends.
